In Lisbon, today nobody in his right mind works. It appears as though good old St. Anthony deserves our taking a day off. I, on my end, am trying to convince the Kazakhs that today i shouldn't work either, in respect to my country and city's ancient traditions. Didn't work, so...
Here nobody celebrates saints, nobody knows exactly what saints are, but on the other hand there are brand new holidays for me such as V-Day, Constitution Day, Nauryz,... great excuses not to check in the office.
Only sometimes, when there's nothing better to do, like eating sardines, working strats looking like a good porspect after all...
